Police arrested 20-year-old Ebenezer Worku, who admitted to accidentally firing the shots while cleaning a gun in his car. Worku, who reportedly suffers from “homicidal schizophrenia,” has been charged with first-degree murder and is held on a \$1.25 million bond.
James’ daughter, Ashley, remembered her as “the most selfless mom” who devoted her life to her children. The town gathered on May 14 to honor her life, remembering her strength, love, and enduring spirit in the face of unimaginable hardship.
